There is nothing better than chatting to three or more friends on Messenger at once. But very often you're scrambling to type a response before your buddy gets impatient while your brain is running a million miles an hour to keep up with each and every conversation. So we thought, how can we make this common situation easier to manage?
And so it was with you in mind that we decided to grab a hold of all your open chat windows and bring them together into one, simple IM window.
The new Messenger 2011 has "tabbed" chat windows, so not only can you work from the one Messenger window but you can also see where the most recent IM response has come from. Simply look for the "tab" that's flashing (which means you haven't replied yet) and get typing!
And don't worry, your conversations aren't all mixed up together. They are just ordered in a more logical way!
This new feature will save you time and make it easier to keep track of who's responded to your IMs and who hasn't. Now there's really no excuse to leave an IM unanswered!
