Can't access your Messenger?
No more access issues - Credit Smudie

You are travelling through Europe on your first overseas trip. You've climbed the Eiffel Tower, seen the Mona Lisa and had photos under the Arc de Triomphe, all in the last three hours.

Buzzing with excitement, you jump on the Net at a seedy Internet cafe and impatiently wait to log into Messenger to tell your family and friends back home all about what has been the most awesome day of your life. After frantically typing in your memorised login and password, up pops the unfamiliar message "Error 80048820-— Extended error code 80048416", which stops you from accessing Messenger.

Insert expletive-ridden, verbal tirade here.

Okay, not all of us spend a lot of time in Paris or even overseas for that matter. Either way, at some point it's possible you may get one of these annoying errors pop up on your very own home computer.

the missus and i both use the same pc and when i go to check my email if she has been on her email than i have to retype my email address and password where if i was the last one to log on all i have to do is type my password can we have two logon ids on screen at once?
So we give 21 obscure error codes in an encouraging email to use messenger. Perhaps it would be more useful to put a link to these error reasons along with the error message when it may be of some use.
I'm getting on, memory's not so sharp any more. I appreciate the importance of security on the net. One ghost that haunts me is to remember, or find, my secure passwords, and they can become many. Then after a few months change them all. I thank the guy who invented the bank savings card with its four number pin. It makes that important part of my life so easy yet secure. How about somebody coming up with a similar system, I'm not saying a card, whereby my identity can be preserved encrypted in some magic IT cloud, accessable by only the four numbers for me to remember- for everything. This idea could probably make a lot of money for somebody. Cheers. Brian
