Have you ever misplaced your mobile phone and been unable to find it for the life of you because of all the mess? You then look for a few minutes before asking someone to ring it for you so you can find it? Come on, fess up, it's happened to everyone.
The new Hotmail has a tool that'll help you find the email you're after even when it's hidden somewhere in your inbox. It's called 'conversation threading' and unlike the previous example, it doesn't require the help of a friend to help you locate what you're after.
Conversation threading groups your email messages by subject, so that you can see all the related mail on a particular topic at once. Follow these steps and you'll get the hang of it in no time.
1. On the toolbar, click options, and then click more options.
2. Under Customise your mail, click Conversation settings, and then select Group messages by conversation.
3. Click save, and then click go to inbox in the left navigation pane.
