Get more done, all from inside Hotmail

Hotmail Active Views saves you time by bringing the content and functionality of partner websites into your Hotmail inbox.

The common frustration of opening an e-mail and then being sent to all corners of the Net visiting other websites is now a thing of the past. Hotmail now works with some of your favourite websites and online services so you can get more done, all from inside Hotmail.

Here are a few basic everyday scenarios where Hotmail's new Active Views will come in handy.

Active Views works with partners like YouTube and Flickr. So when you receive a video link of your friend's favourite YouTube clip, Active View will show you a thumbnail preview. If you like what you see, just watch it right then and there, all from inside your inbox.

Now the GFC's pretty much over a career change might be on your horizon. Fortunately, Hotmail has partnered with services that send you e-mail, such as LinkedIn. So you can accept or decline an invitation to connect with an old workmate all from within the e-mail message.

Finally, if you're a bit of a shopaholic then this new tool is also great for tracking items you've purchased from sites such as eBay. No longer will you be unnecessarily checking your empty letterbox, until the day your precious package arrives.

See how Hotmail's new Active Views works by watching the video below.

Look for this update and many more over the coming weeks as we start delivering them to your Hotmail account.
